Ben White

Ben White has been addicted to all things dance since 2003. He has dabbled in all manner of dance styles, from ballet, to modern and tap to hip hop, and he has found his passion in the American dances of the 1930’s to the 1950’s.  Ben has studied under masters from the original swing era and worked with world class contemporary swing dancers.

With a Bachelor’s degree in theatre and a plethora of stage shows, film acting and voice over  under his belt Ben is a seasoned performer and competitor.  He also coaches Swing Out Seattle and Z-Axis, two performance troupes based out of Seattle, Washington.

Ben is well known for his clear instruction and ability to break down and communicate technique while keeping classes entertaining and fun.  His instructional resume includes co-founding the venue Eastside Stomp where he works as manager and instructor, teaching at the University of Washington and other schools, and traveling for workshops all over the world.
